The Electric Grid has become more complex with recent technological developments. There are more alternative power sources and sensors added into the mix at every part of the grid. The Energy Meter has changed over the past several years as well. The older meters were checked only once a month with a meter reader, but the new u22Smartu22 Meters are capable of reporting energy usage at fifteen minute intervals.
