STATUS KEWARGANEGARAAN MASYARAKAT YANG BERDOMISILI DI KAWASAN PERBATASAN ANTARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA DAN REPUBLIK DEMOKRATIK TIMOR LESTE KHUSUSNYA YANG BERDOMISILI DI WILAYAH KABUPATEN BELU ( Studi Kasus Eks Pengungsi Timor Timur)

摘要

The title of this essay is Citizenship Status People Who Live In Border Area Between The Republic Of Indonesia And The Democratic Republik Of Timor Leste Especially Domiciled In Belu Regency. The legal issues are citizenship status of ex East Timorese refugees after Democratic Republic of Timor Leste become an independence state.The analysis this essay, is used legal normative juridical with focus on the posotive norms, related the Refugees Convention .The situation in the border between Republic of Indonesia and Democratic Republic of Timor Leste give an impact for the people from East Timor after become an Independence State. Some people from East Timor across the border stay in the area of Belu Regency. The citizens status of the people in the border area make a citizenship issues. The people who stayed in the area made a claim that they are Nationals of Indonesia, but in the other side International community believes that they are Democratic Republic Of Timor Leste citizens. Conclusion is ex East Timorese refugees who live in the Belu Regency are citizen of Indonesia, so that the Indonesian government to provide assistance to them.
