Expert System for Contractor to Analyze Risk of Construction Projects in Indonesia is a consultation media to know the dominan factors on the construction project, and to know risk control actions that can take to minimize loss caused by that domi nan factors. Knowledge acquisition for design expert system was colleceted by a research to the experts which works in the contractors at Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Bandung, and Jabotabek. Result of this research show that there are some differences opinion among the experts when they give an impact value to the internal or external risk factors, and the expert's experience factor apparently has a lot influences on that differences among them. After result of the examination made, expert system model created. In this model, input on the user interface designed as some question forms about probability of risk factors appear on the project that will be evalueated. After that, knowledge base that contains rule base, risk factors impact database, and risk control data base was created. Prototipe of expert system made by programming language tool that use Borland Delphi 3`d version software.
