Children is a young generation who countinue Indonesian’s desires. That is whyudwe need to give law protection where in these days, children is always be theudvictim of the adult. Nowadays, it is difficult to fulfill the needs and find the goodudjob, is making sameone lose his mind. Because of that, the parents is being forcedudto exploit their childern to work on the street as beggar. In Yogyakarta it self, weudcan also see many childrens work on the street. The purpose of this research is touddetermine the role of Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Foundations ofudSocial Research Institute (YLPS) Humana in tackling the increasing number ofudstreet children from economic exploitation in Yogyakarta. This legal writing isuddone by the method of normative legal approach. The study focuses on a reviewudof laws, literature studies, and interview with Non Governmental Organizationsud(NGOs) Foundations of Social Research Institute (YLPS) Humana. The results ofudthis research concluded that the Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs)udFoundation for Social Research Institute (YLPS) Humana is a (NGO)-orientedudproblems of street children with their role in reducing the working hours ofudchildren took to the streets which is done by providing a variety of services,udnamely: service in the field of education, health and advocacy with a focus onudservice to maximize access to public services for the target towards the fulfillmentudof children's rights because of the unmet needs of children then automatically theudnumber of children who took to the streets will be reduced.ud
