As cultural diplomacy is usually grounded in aset of values that state or non-state actors areexpected to share, we opted for a preliminarystudy of the cross perception of fundamental Europeanvalues as they are perceived on the Arabside, with a limited scope and a selected theoreticalobject that is the model of European politicalmodels and especially the European liberal democracyas perceived by the Arab intellectuals.
