Eager for enhancingtheir S&T capabilities and internationalposition, national governments, research organisations,foundations and companies engageDiplomacy for Science to stimulate and bolsterglobal research collaborations and internationalisation.In addition, science has come to beseen as means to foster diplomatic relationsbetween nations, following the idea of Sciencefor Diplomacy (Royal Society, 2010).
