On 23 May, the Ministers of Defence of the EU27 will assess the first outcome of the “Ghent Framework” for pooling & sharing of military capabilities. While some defenceestablishments may be hesitant, now is no time for timidity. Ministers must take the lead for the process to yield substantial results. If “Ghent” was the expression ofthe will, now the first concrete actions mustbe taken.
