WALKING TEXT ON THE DOT MATRIX AS INFORMATION BOARD BASED AVR ATMEGA32 MICROCONTROLLER WITH SHORT MESSAGE SERVICES (SMS) GSM NETWORK AS A CHARACTER WRITER

Final Project aims to make the writing runs in the dot matrix character charging through SMS service based on ATMEGA32 AVR microcontroller that serves fatherly viewer displays information on dot matrix and the information can be replaced by sending an SMS from a mobile phone server is sent to the recipient's mobile phone.ud The method used in building this system using the design method consists of several stages, namely, (1) identification of needs, (2) Analysis of needs, (3) The design of the system, (4) working principle, (5) The making of tools, (6 ) specification tool, and (7) Testing equipment. This tool is designed from a series of minimum system ATmega32 AVR microcontroller as the central data processor, cellular phone as a medium for receiving text messages, mobile phone data cable as a link between mobile phone with minimum circuit ATmega32, transistors as switches, IC 74HC595 as a series of dot matrix column drivers, LED as an indicator of information means and dot matrix as the viewer information. The working principle of this instrument are the minimum system microcontroller as the central data processor always read your inbox on the mobile phone, if there is an SMS text message entry will be converted into ASCII data when the sender is a mobile telephone number and the server will remove them if the sender is not a mobile phone server. The data is sent through port C to a series of dot matrix viewer through all drivers.ud The test results, of the hardware has been working as planned. This part of the software, programming language used is Basic language. This program is used to read the format of an SMS PDU received mobile phone and convert that into a character dot matrix.
