TEST METHOD VERIFICATION OF Fe AND SiO2 IN INDUSTRIAL WATERudBY UV-VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AT PT KRAKATAU STEEL

摘要

It has been conducted the test methods verification of Fe and SiO2 in industrial waterudusing UV-Vis spectrophotometer at PT Krakatau Steel. Verification parameters testedudwere linearity, precision, accuracy, and detection limit. The results show the value ofudlinearity, precision, accuracy and detection limits for testing Fe are respectively 0.996;ud3.803%; 87.94% and 0.048 mg/L while for SiO2 consecutive tests was 0.998; 2.014%;ud100.755% and 0.010 mg/L. The results of test methods verification of Fe and SiO2 meetudthe requirements and can be accepted as a method for routine testing in the chemicaludlaboratory of PT Krakatau Steel.
