The application of predictive current control to audmultilevel converter is explored for application in an aerospaceudstarter-generator system to investigate how such as system may beudused to limit the harmonic distortion in the starter-generator’sudstator current waveform and also at the point of commonudconnection with the aircraft supply system. The proposed systemudis analyzed, and a prototype converter and aerospace generatorudare used to provide experimental testing results.
