摘要

We use for FDMA signals reception a deterministic particle technique associated to a characterization of fading inudwireless channels. This characterization takes into account the Doppler effect of the channel and consists of a minimaludapproximation basis that is sufficient to represent the received signal. The unknown parameters associated to thisudrepresentation have to be estimated jointly to the symbol sequence containing the message. Maximum likelihooduddeterministic particle filtering is an appropriate solution to this joint estimation/detection problem. Simulation resultsudshow that the proposed receiver is superior to PSP (“Per-Survivor Processing”) and the symbol error probability tendsudto the theoretical optimum when the number of particles increases.
