The dispersion of ultrasonic waves by laminated composites is studied by investigating the propagation parallel toudthe layers of a two constituants aluminium-epoxy composite material within the frequency range 0.2-2.5 MHz. Twoudmodes of propagation are observed ; the slow velocity and the high velocity propagation modes . Comparison anduddiscussion between experimental data and prediction from a theoretical model : the mixture theory of Hegemierudand al. is used.udFinally, the transmitted pulse is synthetized on the oasis of the stationary phase method front the model of Hegemier.udThe comparison with the experimental pulse is presented .
