The diurnal variation of the atmospheric radon daughter content is investigated in the view-point of their relation with some meteorological conditions. The diurnal variation of it, which showsthe high content toward daylight and the low one in afternoon , is due largely to the prosperity anddecay of the inversion layer in the atmosphere near the ground surface . In the simulation of thediurnal variation of it due to the time variation of the inversion layer height using the box model, theresults show good agreement with the observed ones.
