摘要

Electrical conductivities of tetra-n-butyl-ammonium bromides have beenmeasured in p-dioxane~water mixtures. The results were evaluated using theShedlovsky-method. The dissociation constants of tetra-n-butyl-ammoniumbromides drawn from this method were 5.15x10^-3, 1.37x10^2, and 2.90x10^1in molar ratios of 1:2,1:4,and 1:8 of p-dioxane~water mixtures,respectively.It was recognized from these results that tetra-n-butyl-ammonium bromides inwater are strong electrolytes but the dissociation constant of this salt in thebinary mixtures diminishes with increasing mole fraction of p-dioxane becauseof the ionic association. On the other hand, it seemed that in the binary solventsystems having larger mole fraction of water they obey Walden's law but thedegree of departure from that law has been yielded in the case of smaller molefraction of water.
