Domestic Movements of Management Ordinance and Demolition Programs for Vacant Houses

Many vacant houses could bring danger to surrounding and neighboring residents. For that reason, "Act on Special Measures to forward municipalities' moves for the Promotion of Vacant Houses" was enforced in 2015. This paper aims to clarify the actual conditions of the management regulation and the demolition program by the municipalities. The number of the management regulation and the demolition program has been increasing, and the demolition programs were grouped into seven types, although the present state is transitional period of response to the Act.
