摘要

Methylvinylmaleate and fumarate were synthesized by Vinyl Interchange Reaction ofvinylacetate with monomethylmaleate or fumarate and their physical properties were determinedThe cyclization polymerizations of above monomers with radical initiator were studiedand the initial rate of polymerization of fumarate was about thirtytimes as large as that ofmaleateResidual double bond in polymers and infrared spectra of polymers indicated the formationof 5-membered lactone ring in both polymers and 4-membered lactone ring inpolymaleate. The difference of percent cyclization between two polymers was discussed.
