摘要

In this paper the behavior of Japanese cedar(Cryptomerica) pollen particles was investigated. Followinggs were clarified.1) the diameter of the Japanese cedar pol1en particle was 29.9μm in average,2) the weight of a single pollen particle was 1.89x 10-9g,3) the density of a single pollen particle was calculated as 0.135g/cm3 4) the terminal velocity of the pollen was calculated as 0.365cm/s according to the Stokes equation. The aerodynamic diameter of this terminal velocity was equal to the particle diameter of 10.98μm (particle density is assumed as 1 g/cm3), which is one third of the actual pollen diameter.
