Imaginaires, représentations, pratiques formelles et non formelles de la recherche d'information sur Internet : Le cas d'élèves de 6ème et de professeurs documentalistes

The objective of this work is to provide a better understanding of the imaginary, non-formal representations and practices developed by the students of the sixth on finding information on the Internet, and perform a parallel and a confrontation with the practical training implemented by librarian teachers. To do this, a qualitative study, combining semi-structured interviews and detached observation, was conducted in three french schools. The adoption of an eco-positioned to analyze the information retrieval on the Internet allows us to consider the practices of research and training so located, taking into account the constraints carried by the spaces of action identified. The sense of feeling personally expertise in research on the Internet plays for both types of individuals a fundamental role in both ownership of the tool in the apprehension and training sessions. The study reveals a significant gap between the research practices of students and ordinary practices prescribed by professionals.
