Creación de un centro de asesoría y consultoría agroempresarial para la Facultad Seccional Duitama de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia / Creation of an advising and consulting agro-managerial center for the “UPTC” Duitama Branch Faculty

Este trabajo aborda la posibilidad de crear una nueva dependencia, que lidere, organice y guíe el desarrollo del sector agropecuario de Boyacá. El método utilizado parte del estudio de la cultura organizacional de la Facultad Seccional Duitama de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. En su conjunto cumplió tres finalidades; en primera instancia permitió determinar rasgos propios de la cultura organizacional y la concepción que acerca de ella tienen los funcionarios de esta seccional. Un segundo logro consistió en la identificación de las necesidades de capacitación con el fin de potenciar aún más las capacidades de trabajo y de liderazgo de los empleados. A partir de la combinación de las dos anteriores, se estableció el grado de aceptación del centro, reflejado en el respaldo y compromiso de los trabajadores para que el centro funcione. En efecto, el estudio demuestra que en términos administrativos, el Centro de Asesoría y Consultoría Agroempresarial es viable.udMediante la investigación se constato que los trabajadores de la seccional Duitama son conscientes del papel que debe jugar la institución en el contexto regional, en especial en el área de influencia. / Abstract. This work approaches the possibility to create a new agency in charge of leading, organizing, and advising the development of the agriculture and livestock industry sector in Boyacá. The research study has taken into account a method based on studying the organizational culture of the “UPTC” Duitama Branch Faculty. As a whole, the study has fulfilled three purposes. First of all, it let the researchers determine specific features of the organizational culture and the conception workers in the faculty have about it. A second achievement was de identification of training needs in order to strengthen employees’ working and leadership skills; by combining both of them, it was established the level of acceptance for the center, according to the workers’ support and commitment for the center functioning in fact, the study demonstrates that the Advising and Consulting Agro-Managerial Center is viable in administrative terms. Through the research work, it was verified that the Duitama Branch Faculty workers are conscious about the role that the institution must play in the regional context, especially in this influence area.
