The in vivo experiment firstly shows that the traditional Chinese medicine compound Erxian soup extract can improve the BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) level of the rat hippocampus and prefrontal cortex forehead of the elderly, and simultaneously increase the expression of an NMDA (N-Methyl-D-Aspartate) receptor, therefore, the traditional Chinese medicine compound Erxian soup can be further developed to be used for improving the learning and cognitive function decline caused by increased age of women, especially an impact on learning, memory and thinking.
