An Investigation of Blackboard Surfaces : Specular Glossiness of Blackboard surface materials

In this paper, by measurements and statistic analyses, specular glossiness of the blackboard materials are studied. Conclusion: (1) Specular glossiness of each material vary with the angle of incidence. (2) Variation pattern in specular glossiness of each material differ from each other. (3) Specular glossiness of materials corelates inversely with surface roughness. (4) The ultimate factors of specular glossiness are the height of mountain and the pitch of surface roughness curve.
