Deux générations d'agriculteurs face aux transformations des paysages bocagers. Etude de cas en Normandie.

Typical hedgerows landscapes of Lower Normandy are often quoted for rural valorisation campaign. Agricultural and land cover evolution since 40's years strongly disturbed landscape structures and their perception and representation by local settlers. This paper allows studying landscape representations using an atypical survey methodology. On one hand, representations of farmers are described with the help to some individual photographs. On the other hand, we guess to explain these interpretations assuming an ideological and inter-generational point of view. Results show important differences between farmers who participated to agricultural intensification in 1970's, and those who started their holding after the main productivism crisis at the end of 1980's.
