La place de La Langue des Signes dans la scolarisation et la socialisation des enfants sourds et malentendants dans le premier degré

This work studies the impact of the signing language in socialisation and education for the deaf pupils in elementary school. The objective is to establish a picture of the means used to allow the schooling adaptation fot these pupils, in order to be in accord with the 2005 law. First, it definies the useful concepts, the law and theorical aspects, then it deals with the concrete situation of a primary school: Marceau (Le Mans, Sarthe ) and its special class CLIS 2 for the education of deaf pupils. It also deals with socialisation for young deaf and partially deaf adults express their own opinion on the place and use of the signing language in school and in everyday situations.
