The purpose of this Bachelor Thesis is the study, design, optimization, construction and subsequent analysis of abeamforming network for a monopulse antenna in the ISM band of 2.45 GHz. The network will be designed inmicrostrip technology and is intended to be integrated into a future design of a continuous-wave monopulse radarwith linear frequency modulation for short-range detection.The BFN will be used in conjunction with the antenna array designed by Pablo Garrido [4] which comprisesfour patch elements, it is a model already built to keep in mind the limitations that this entails, both in size andperformance. The design will be as compact as possible, trying to efficiently combine an optimized use of spacewithout affecting the performance of the circuit.
