A study on integrated development of life environmental system and life support devices

摘要

Life environmental systems and life support devices have been developed in order to increase quality of a life of healthhy or handicapped people. Although the systems and the devices have a close relationship to each other, both of them have been studied independently. In this study, a technique for integrated development of them is reported. In addition, valuable design which means value-added universal design or KYOYO-HIN is proposed in order to be accepted the product by more helthy/handicapped people. Some examples of valuable design for railroad transport are discussed. Concepts of stations, a wheel chair, and a passenger car are clarified.
