Effect of Mental Friend Activities on Mental Friends Themselves

摘要

In mental friend activities at this university, students interested in child welfare provide support,as mental friends, to local children in hospitals, schools and welfare facilities. The aim of thisstudy is to discover the effects of mental friend activities on the mental friends themselves. Sixstudents who regularly carried out mental friend activities were interviewed. Analysis using thetext mining method showed that mental friend activities were linked to the mental friends' ownlearning and personal growth.
