CHINESE SILICON VALLEY ZHONGGUANCUN SCIENCE PARK IN BEIJING

摘要

In this paper, I suppose to elucidate the policies to establish the Zhongguancun Science Park (ZSP) in Beijing, examine ZSP in the view of national innovation system (NIS), and make clear the features of ZSP under the influence of globalization. Especially the features are conected to the adoption of Information Communication Technology (IT or ICT), the transformation from planned economy of China to a market economy, inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI), and the incubation system of firms. As it is clear then that these policies of Chinese government are intended to establish the whole system of market economy in China regime, it is important to analyze Chinese socio-economic regime inthe framework of the bureaucratic and state-oligopolistic market economy.
