Seamless knitted intimate apparel such as bras, panties, bodywear, and active wear has a number of benefits over cut-and-sewn underwear because it reduces material wasted in, the cost of, and the time required for the cutting and sewing processes. Both opportunities and threats in quality control and fitting issues are discussed. The working principle and knitting parameters are provided in detail, so this chapter provides a reference for the future development of this seamless knitting technology for more creative designs.
