Radiation heat transfer from soot in the flame zone to the fuel surface of asolid fuel ramjet was incorporated into an existing two-dimensional computercode. Improved prediction of the fuel regression pattern was obtained. Nearwalltemperature measurements indicated that the model predicts too much turbulentmixing near the fuel surface.
