Subsonic cascade wind tunnel tests of a sundstrand controlled-diffusion fan blade section

Results are given of subsonic cascade wind tunnel tests of a controlled diffusion fan blade section designed by Sundstrand Corporation. Data were obtained successfully at air inlet angles less than and approaching design incidence. Operation at design and higher incidence angles would require side wall suction. It was concluded that the design was successful and that a fan test should be considered
