Some probability models related to classical occupancy with possible applications to tactical analysis

In this report three types of probability distributions associated withrandom search-type models are derived. The distributions are closely relatedto the classical occupancy problem. The first two types are univariate andare applicable to simple random search models such as mine hunting or onekindmine sweeping. The third type is multivariate allowing for variousmine ship count settings.
