In Part A of the report the titles of the 12 sessions and the 5 invitedlectures are summarized in the introduction. Concerning the content of the117 presented papers, mainly the ones dealing with collisionless plasmaphenomena are reviewed in the report, as for example: collisionless plasmaheating by strong shock waves, turbulent heating, fluctuation spectrum duringturbulent heating of a toroidal plasma, transformation and absorption of highfrequency waves in a plasma, observation of anomalous resistivity, etc.Furthermore, an interesting effect concerning the anomalous scattering oflaser light from a plasma is reported. The last chapter reviews a panel discussionon Tokamaks which started with a report on recent results given byL. A. Artsimovich and B. B. Kadomtsev.Part B contains the paper No. Ill,, "Investigation of Instabilities andCollisionless Damping Mechanisms in the Front of a Laser Produced PlasmaInteracting with a Magnetic Field" by F. Schwirzke, published in ProceedingsThird European Conference on Controlled Fusion and Plasma Physics, Wolters-Noordhoff Publishing , Groningen, The Netherlands, 1969.
