Man-Machine interface for remote programming and control of NC machine-tools at the task level : an example

This paper presents an example of Man-Machine Interface for remote programming and control of NC machinetools. The system is based on a computer virtual panel which substitutes the machine control panel and intelematics interfaces which establishes the basis for geographical independence between the physical equipmentand human operator.
