A framework for a computer aided design system for product oriented manufacturing systems

摘要

In this paper we present a framework and an associated support system for the design of ProductOriented Manufacturing Systems (POMS). This includes the characterization and description of the structureand components of the support system, including database, user interface and knowledge base. Theframework components are integrated into an organized system called CADS_POMS (Computer AidedDesign System for POMS).
