Future Internet applications are expected to have higher QoSrequirements. Therefore, routing protocols must be adapted tofind a path which satisfies such requirements. Most multicastapplications are QoS sensitive in nature, because they involvethe transmission of real-time multimedia data streams. There are several research projects aiming to extend existingmulticast routing protocols with QoS capabilities, or evenproposing new QoS aware ones. However key requirements forinter-domain routing like scalability, intra-domainindependence, and policy awareness are missing in most ofexisting multicast routing protocols. In this paper, it is proposed an inter-domain multicastrouting strategy that builds inter-domain unidirectionalmulticast distribution trees, taking into account multicastspecific routing policies, and supporting QoS requirements.
