Promotion is one form of motivation plays an important role in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization. On the other hand promotion is one implementation of employee development functions within the scope of human resource management. Productivity is the human desire and effort to always improve the quality of life and livelihood in all fields. In this study wanted to know how far the influence of promotion and productivity of work in improving job performanceudThe problems statement about the implementation of promotion and productivity of labor relations with employee job performance. The essence of the problem is how the relationship promotion and productivity on work performance of employees. the study was conducted in one of the government institutions, namely the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of IndonesiaudThe research methodology used descriptive only aims to describe and explain the characteristics of a situation at a particular time in order to provide an overview of the relationship between the promotion and productivity with job performance. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire which is a list of questions that deliberately so as to reveal the information needed. Questionnaires distributed to the census of the object of study as much as 182 respondentsudOur research found there is a partial effect on the performance of a promotion, a significant and positive relationship. There is no partial effect prokduktivitas work on job performance and a negative relationship. Found effects of simultaneous promotion and labor productivity on work performance, but not significantly. It turned out that promotion is crucial job performance of employee
