Keywords: Analysis, Implicature, Novel.ududThis research describes about the implicatures that are found in Study in Scarlet in Sherlock Holmes novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. There are two implicatures that can be analyzed; those are conventional implicature and conversational implicature.udThis analysis used descriptive method because it describes about the implicatures that are found in Study in Scarlet Novel. The data were taken from a novel entitled Study in Scarlet in Sherlock Holmes novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.udTo collect the data, the writer uses some steps such as read and understands the content of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle novel Study in Scarlet, find out the implicatures in Study in Scarlet novel, select and pick the data up refer to the problem by underlying it as the selected data.udFrom the analysis there are five hundred fifty implicatures found in Study in Scarlet Novel. There are seven conversational implicatures found in Study in Scarlet Novel. And there are fifty hundred forty three conventional implicatures found in Study in Scarlet Novel.
