Studies on the Action of Childrenu27s Play; data for design of playthings.

It goes without saying that there is a close relation between the playing space and the playthings of the children and their behavior. Of course the facilities of the play cannot be judged by the childrenu27s action itself, but it can be considered one of the fundamental datum. Therefor I divided their playing action into the fundamental things and the applied one. First I tried to study the fundamental one. I chose three children of each age of from 3 to 5 and male and female whose height are standard, taking into consideration of their growth hereafter. Using the camera, I examined the extension of their play. I have readjusted every action and measure of their play to apply the real design.
