Hydrologic Characters and Exploitation of Water Resources in the Arid Area of the Qaidara Basin

[ABSTRACT] This paper deals with the hydrologic conditions of the Qaidam Basin, a typical inland basin of China, which include precipitation and runoff character, and water resources state characterized with a small absolute quantity and large relative quantity. Finally, the design of water resources decision support system for the basin is presented.
