Audit of Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority official controls in relation to biotoxin and microbiological monitoring of live bivalve molluscs

As part of the FSAI audit programme for 2013 and in accordance with Schedule 5 of the service contract with the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA), two audit projects were carried out in relation to SFPA official controls of live bivalve molluscs. This report outlines the effectiveness and appropriateness of SFPA official controls in relation to live bivalve molluscs.
