Accountability framework: performance accountability framework for the health services 2016

The HSE’s Accountability Framework was introduced in 2015 and has been further enhanced and developedudfor 2016. It sets out the means by which the HSE and in particular the National Divisions, Hospital Groups andudCHOs, will be held to account for their performance in relation to Access to services, the Quality and Safety ofudthose Services, doing this within the Financial resources available and by effectively harnessing the efforts ofudits overall Workforce.
