This independent report identifies theudoptimum configuration of hospital basedudservices for HSE South, in accordanceudwith the HSE’s strategies, transformationudpriorities and the international trends inudhealthcare delivery.udWe address the impact of the newudconfiguration on the interface andudrelationship between the acute hospitaludand the primary, community andudcontinuing care (PCCC) service andudpropose practical next steps, set out inudtwo phases, to establish patient-centredudsustainable acute hospital and PCCCudservices for Cork and Kerry based uponudrecognised international practice.
