The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the inquiri learning strategy on power of mathematical and mathematical disposition in junior high school students. The method used in this research is pre - experimental study with a One group pretest posttest design. The sample in this study is one class out of five classes eighth grade. Based on the average pre-test score and the average post-test scores are identified that there is improved students\u27 mathematical power after inquiry learning strategies in the subject matter of system coordinates in class VIIIA that is 4.08 ( pre - test ) to 5.821 ( post-test ) out of a maximum score of 8.00. From result of students\u27 mathematical disposition questionnaire known that students agree to inquiry learning strategies in the subject matter of coordinate system in class VIIIA.
