The aim of this research is to investigate whether the angklung game can increase gross motor skills of children in group 5-6 years. The form of study is a classroom action research (CAR) to 24 students at the age group of 5-6 years . Classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles. The results showed an increase in gross motor abilities of children with the following information: a) less or reduced in the number of children from the average of six children in cycle 1 remained the three children in average of the cycle II (increased 1.6%), b) good reduced in the number of children an average of 15 children in the first cycle remained 13 children in average of the cycle 2 (approximately 1.67%); c ) very good increased in the number of children in the average of 3 children in the first cycle remained 7 children in the average of cycle 2 (increase 13.89%). The results showed that the angklung musical instrument can improve the gross motor skills of children.
