Konspirasi Politik dalam Kematian Marsinah di Porong Sidoarjo Tahun 1993-1995 (Political Conspiracy On The Death Of Marsinah In Porong Sidoarjo In 1993-1995)

This article discusses the political conspiracy in the death of Marsinah, a female labor of PT. Catur Putra Surya (PT. CPS) Porong Sidoarjo in 1993-1995. Marsinah death associated with an active role in labor demonstrations of PT. CPS Porong on 3-4 May 1993, and was associated with the repression of the New Order government in achieving national stability in order to support economic development. Irregularities contained in the disclosure show that there was a conspiracy of the military and law enforcement to prevent Marsinah killer from being punished. In order to analyze the political conspiracy in the death of Marsinah, the theory of hegemony as well as the concept model of bureaucratic authoritarian state are employed. The research method used in this article is historical method which has four steps: heuristics, appraising them critically, interpretation, and historiography.
