Taverns and inns, with their heavy use, become places dominate the social life of the18th century, and therefore specific locations to capture many aspects of sociability, politics and even the justice of a province. It will allow us to observe the Dauphiné and the modern era from a different point of view. So my review will not be limited to a single social approach. Due to the nature of the sources, I have gathered in the departmental archives of the Isere, my research will also attempt to update the relationship between justice and drinking. Thus we canask ourselves what characteristics, peculiarities of drinking the Dauphiné, legal proceedings will appeal to parliament to highlight.
