The main purpose of Multicultural Education is to arouse students ability to comprehend different countries, areas, nationalities and culture. Base on the reality of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this article consists of 3 parts to discuss how to insist the concept of Multicultural Education. First of all, the courses should emphasize the attitude of respecting for various peoples and their cultures. Second, the courses should include the materials which could revel the differences between Chinese and foreign cultures and the issues which are concerned globally. Contents and excises that can impulse students thinking and communicating should be added into the teaching modality. Third, flexible and diverse forms of teaching should be included in teaching method, such as role playing, emulation, game and discuss could get better effect.
