Transmission links in wireless networks suffer from independent channel fading. Cooperative routing technologyudwith diversity transmission can exploit the randomness ofudthe wireless channel and efficiently improve the networkudperformance by selecting multiple cooperative nodes to forward the data. This paper proposes a novel Multiple Shared Channels Cooperative (MSCC) routing protocol for wireless networks. MSCC takes the advantage of cooperativeudtransmission to achieve diversity gains. It also combines audclustering hierarchy with a bandwidth reuse scheme to mitigate Co-Channel Interference (CCI). The simulation results show an improvement in the packet delivery ratio of networks with MSCC.
