Semantic and dialogue processing in the VERBMOBIL spoken dialogue translation system

In this paper we sketch the role of semantic and dialogue processing in the Verbmobil spoken dialogue translation system. A full demonstration system is currently under development although a "miniu27; demonstration system has been implemented.
