Globalization is a process in which the inter-individual, inter-group, inter-states interact with each other,uddependent, related and affect each other across national boundaries. The positive effects of globalization areudincreasingly open international market where foreign companies can easily work with a local company. One key toudsuccess is to be competitive in the global marketplace is the ability to meet international standards and regulations.udThe quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 is an integrated system that serves to optimize the quality of audcompany's effectiveness by creating an ergonomic framework for continuous quality improvement (continual qualityudimprovement). ISO 9001: 2008 specifies requirements - requirements and recommendations for the designud(ergonomically view) and assessment of a quality management system that aims to ensure that the company willuddeliver a product (goods / services) that meet the requirements set. By implementing quality control, and ergonomic udprinciples companies can find and address the factors that cause deviation of the process, so expect the percentage udof production that deviates from the standard can be minimized. Small and Medium Industries as one cog inudIndonesia's economy needs to implement a standardized quality management system to be able to penetrate theudglobal market to seize the opportunities of the big companies in particular foreign companies. Documentation of theudquality management system ISO 9001: 2008 quality manual covers, operational procedures, work instructions andudrecording forms. In this research, the study will explore the issues ergonomics implementation of quality standardsudsuch as SMI aplicable in machinery which is the object of this study.
